3 Days 2 Nights Budget Great Rift Valley Safari
Welcome to Lake Nakuru National Park, Hells Gate Safari that aims to provide you with the best of Kenyan Great Rift Valley. In Lake Nakuru, you will have the best of flamingoes and wildlife such as the lions, leopards, cheetahs, and buffaloes.
At hells gate national reserve you will enjoy the best of nature and natural surprises. similarly, you will enjoy the best boat ride in the famous Lake Naivasha.
Meal Plan; (X, L, D)
Depart Nairobi and head north towards the Rift Valley town of Nakuru. On route, we will stop for views across the Great Rift Valley, Mt Longonot, and Lake Naivasha. With a picnic lunch, we enter Lake Nakuru National Reserve, which is famous for the thousands of flamingo that inhabit the shores of the lake.
Moreover, this Reserve was established as a rhino sanctuary, and black and white rhino are frequently seen on game drives along with buffalo, lion, giraffe, waterbuck, and the elusive leopard. Finally, on this day, we will depart for dinner and overnight stay at a camp or lodge in Nakuru.

After breakfast, we proceed south passing through Naivasha town and drive around the southern end of the lake, past the flower farms to Elsemere. Elsemere is home to the late Joy and George Adamson, of Born Free fame.
This is now a conservation centre and museum where you will enjoy an hour-long boat ride on Lake Naivasha, then enjoy some delicious lunch in their beautiful gardens with the company of black and white colobus monkeys. Here you can see hundreds of bird species as well as the hippos which are always heard at camp overnight.
After lunch, we proceed to Crater Lake Conservancy Area where we walk up to the rim of the beautiful volcanic crater for views down to the emerald green Crater Lake.
Flamingo populations have boomed here recently, some having migrated from Lake Nakuru. With our guide you can walk through the conservancy area, trekking after plains animals including giraffe, eland, and antelope, as we see various species of birds and plants. Later leave for Fisherman’s Camp/lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, we drive the short distance to the entrance of Hell’s Gate National Park. Soon after you enter the park the impressive landscape unfolds, as we proceed to a dramatic, semi-arid world, with sheer rugged cliffs, open plains, and deep concealed gorges.
There are many activities you can do within Hell’s Gate including, walking, cycling, rock climbing, bird watching and trekking through the gorge amongst the geysers where you choose.
Enjoy some picnic lunch in the park. Late afternoon we depart Hell’s Gate for Nairobi, for homebound flight or drop off at a place of your choice within Nairobi city.
